Well, basically, the second world war finally finished and depending on who’s side you were on, we won. We also went to the moon if you can believe that and Simon Cowell invented music, who would have thought of it?

And me? Well after finishing the umpteenth re-write of Zartangs bk 1 I finally got around to completing the second in the series of Jurassic Mark books, …and the Frankenguitar, which sees our hero the 12 foot lomux of a Tyrannasaurus Rex having the guitar battle of his life to save his reputation and to keep him out of jail.  For 7-12 year olds this book is of a comic nature so expect plenty of daft humour and out of the ordinary things. I’ve seen the illustrations for the first one ..and the magic of Lucille and they are fantastic!

For the time being I am back on the hard stuff, well they did warn me there at the rehab clinic but I never listened as usual. So far I have written eighteen chapters of Projekta, my sci-fi horror and will keep doing so as long as people are interested in reading the next one.  Completely far removed from my usual genre of retail-obsessed aliens and magic guitar-weilding dinosaurs, Projekta looks at the last days of a teenage boy lying in intensive care in a coma reflecting on the events leading up to his hospitalisation.

Leon Black has dreams of becoming like his hero David Attenbourough only when he is constantly bullied by the son of his mother’s new boyfriend and his friends things begins snowballing out of control and he begins killing people.  He doesn’t actually want to do this but he has what he calls the mind thing inside his head that projects terrifying images into other people’s heads that send them into a living nightmare.

If you are a literary agent or a publisher reading this and you are interested in reading more about ‘Projekta’ you can contact me via my email address which is philgilliver@live.co.uk. Or you can read the book on the link below.

    Many thanks.
